OR auction entitled “Artifacts of Hollywood & Music”which is organized by the house Kruse GWS Auctionsfeatures nearly 400 items that belonged to, among others, Prince, Aaliyah and Abigail Folger, an heiress who was a victim of murderer Charles Manson and his accomplices.
“This particular auction has some pretty powerful items in terms of emotional connections for people,” she said Brigitte Cruz, from the organizers of the sale. “There’s this element of tragedy and idols leaving us too soon.”
Among the top exhibits are items that belonged to Presley, for example a microphone from the singer’s Las Vegas residence, a pill bottle dated March 1977 and two unique gold rings, which are expected to fetch between 35,000 and 60,000 dollars.
The jewelry belonging to Elvis Presley, who died in August 1977, “continues to prove that he remains one of the most powerful assets on the planet,” Cruise said.
Another standout piece in this auction is a handwritten letter from Brian Wilson to his Beach Boys bandmate and cousin Mike Love, which is estimated to be worth at least $10,000.
The online auction will take place on Saturday, August 31st.
