A 36-year-old resident of the Primorsky district was driving through the whole city in order to place his child in a very good school. In addition to the deputy director of the educational institution, the criminal investigation department and the FSB came to the meeting.
A native of Georgia, registered in Karelia, and living on Savushkin Street, was detained the day before for regarding two days in a restaurant on Zagreb Boulevard, the Agency for Journalistic Investigations (AZhUR) learned on August 30. There he had an appointment with the deputy director of the engineering and technology school, located in the Primorsky district. For him, a man who has a cargo transportation business in Karelia and leases construction equipment allegedly had an envelope with 200 thousand rubles. For this amount, three days before the start of the school year, according to preliminary information, he tried to arrange a child in the first grade of a school, admission to which is carried out according to its own rules and has long been completed.
When the envelope began to travel around the table, a crowd burst into the restaurant: employees of the ethnic department of the criminal investigation department and the service for the protection of the constitutional order and the fight once morest terrorism of the Federal Security Service for St. Petersburg and the region were in a hurry to join the feast.
The troubled father was taken to the investigative committee, where they were informed regarding the initiation of a criminal case on giving a bribe and interrogated. He stayed overnight in the cell.
But judging by the composition of the participants in the special operation, the matter here may be different: the ethnic department of the UgRO and the FSB officers would hardly have united for the sake of a banal bribe. It is possible that the man was interested in other reasons. In the meantime, they looked following him, it became possible to detain and realize legally.
