Launched as an option to monetize the platform, Twitter Blue has been working to encourage users of the platform belonging to Elon Musk to have extra benefits when compared to “ordinary” users of the network, including the possibility of uploading videos in Full HD and more.
However, one of the most interesting options for some is the offer of the blue checker placed next to the user, something that until then was linked to the user’s notoriety and which, as of April 1st, will be exclusive to paying customers, removing until then the seal of journalists, vehicles and more.
However, it seems that Twitter’s developers realized that it might be interesting to offer the opportunity to hide this seal, thus preventing your account from being blocked due to a boycott of the functionality, something that has already been raised for a few weeks on the network.
Without much mystery or duality in language, the print published by Alessandro Paluzzi reveals that this possibility may be released at some point in the future, something that might even boost adherence by those who want to remain “in secrecy” as payers, benefiting from others benefits offered by the platform.
For now, there is no information regarding the release of this functionality for subscribers but considering its location it is not yet publicly available (something confirmed even by Paluzzi) but, considering the existing test, it is likely that we will see news related to this in the coming weeks.
So, what do you think regarding the possibility of hiding the verification seal? Tell us in the comments!
