The local authorities in the Azilal region in Morocco reported, on Monday, that the bodies of two people were found buried under the soil, following the collapse of the “Teknant” cave.
According to the “Hespress” website, the authorities received a notification from a person stating that two of his companions had fallen, in the aforementioned cave, where all authorities and interests mobilized for immediate intervention and taking the necessary measures to save those concerned, who found two lifeless bodies under the rubble.
According to preliminary data, the two deceased persons were inside the aforementioned cave as part of a group of seven people, in order to search for precious metals, before the collapse of the cave, which has a fragile geological formation, due to the excavations that began inside it.
And the same source highlighted that a research was opened in this regard by the interests of the Royal Gendarmerie, under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, to reveal all the circumstances and circumstances surrounding this incident.
