Asuncion, IP Agency.- On Sunday, the National Institute for Rural and Land Development (Indert) delivered 180 property titles to beneficiaries in the department of San Pedro, as part of its mass titling process that has already delivered more than 6,000 documents in the first year of management.
The delivery took place at a ceremony in the 2 de Mayo neighborhood of Yrybucuá, where residents of several neighborhoods received their titles.
The event was headed by the president of Indert, Francisco Ruiz Díaz, the governor of San Pedro, Freddy Decclesis and the mayor of Yrybucuá, Sergio Morán, among other authorities.
Another 75 titles were handed over, while 102 signed their documents, Indert said.
San Pedro is the department that has benefited the most from the massive titling carried out by the Government of Paraguay through Indert.
On Sunday, Indert authorities held a public hearing with residents of Maracaná neighborhoods. At the meeting, it was agreed that next week Indert officials will conduct training sessions for the formation of the new commission for the development and promotion of the rural area of the district.
