In his statement to the Saudi Press Agency, His Excellency the Minister of Information, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, said that the Council of Ministers followed the developments of the situation and its happenings in various arenas, reiterating the Kingdom’s rejection and condemnation of the attacks launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia on civilian objects and vital installations in the Kingdom and the Emirates and the corridors of the Kingdom. International navigation in the Red Sea with the aim of destabilizing the security and stability of the region, stressing the urgent need for the international community to act, especially the Security Council, to put an end to this aggressive behavior in a manner that preserves international peace and security.
The Council referred to the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom, represented by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, to support the brotherly Yemeni people in various aspects, and through programs and projects implemented in partnership with international organizations to advance vital sectors, raise the level of services provided, and provide needs and conditions that support development.

His Excellency indicated that the Council of Ministers touched upon the conclusions of the meetings of representatives of the countries of the Friends of Sudan and the Quartet made up of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States of America, which were hosted by the city of Riyadh, affirming their commitment to continue joint efforts; To achieve stability in the Republic of Sudan, and support the United Nations Transitional Assistance Mission in this brotherly country.

Authorizing His Excellency the Minister of Tourism – or his representative – to discuss with the Jamaican side a draft memorandum of understanding in the field of tourism between the Ministry of Tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Tourism in Jamaica, to sign it, and then submit the final signed copy, to complete the regulatory procedures.

Approval of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the World Tourism Organization to develop human capabilities through e-learning.
Fifthly:
Approval of a memorandum of understanding between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the State of Kuwait for cooperation in the field of direct investment promotion.
Sixthly:
Approval of a draft declaration of intent between the Ministry of Finance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and authorizing His Excellency the Minister of Finance – or his representative – to negotiate with the British side in this regard, and sign it.
Seventh:
Authorizing His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Food and Drug Authority – or his representative – to discuss with the Malaysian side a draft memorandum of cooperation between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of Malaysia in the field of mutual recognition of halal certificates for local products, sign it, and then upload the final signed copy, to complete regular procedures.

Approving the final account of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund for a previous fiscal year.

Appointing Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Haqbani, Abdullatif bin Saleh Al-Sheikh, Faisal bin Marzouq Al-Fahadi, and Eng. – Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Aqeel is promoted to the position of (financial advisor) at rank (14th) at the Ministry of Finance.
The Cabinet also reviewed a number of general topics on its agenda, including annual reports of the Ministry of Health, the General Presidency of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, and the General Corporation of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, and the Council took the necessary measures regarding these issues.
