Manchester City unveiled today, Friday, the statue dedicated to Argentine striker Sergio Aguero, the club’s historical goalscorer.

Manchester City needed to score two goals during the injury time of the Queens Park Rangers match to be crowned “Premier League” officially, while Manchester United waited for the match to end for the title to go to its treasury.
But Edin Dzeko and Aguero had a different opinion and scored two goals in overtime, so the title went to the “Citizens” treasury with a goal difference.
Aguero commented on the matter, saying: “Actually this is a very good thing for me, seeing myself ten years ago is very moving. I managed to win many titles in these ten years and I was able to help the club to be one of the best clubs in the world, I am very grateful to the club for this The statue is a recognition of my career as a footballer in Manchester. It is very special.”
