The Syrian actress Kinda Alloush was honored by the Cairo International Short Film Festival for her films Exodus and Two Swimmers.

Kinda published pictures of her during the honor, through her official account on the “Instagram” site.

Kinda commented on the photos, saying: “Happy and grateful to be honored at the Cairo International Short Film Festival following the excellence and success of the films Exodus and The Two Swimmers. An honor that I appreciate and cherish, especially since it came alongside the honoring of professors Yousry Nasrallah and Marianne Khoury. Those who have the passion and lack the capabilities to start their journey in the world of film directing .. Greetings to all those in charge of the festival and my wishes for a successful and distinguished session.

On the other hand, Kinda Alloush participated in the series “Stat Beit Maadi”, starring Engy Al-Moqaddam, Mirhan Hussein, Tara Imad, Engy Kiwan, Intisar, Nihal Kamal Al-Mahdi, Amira Al-Aydi, Sherif Hafez, Ahmed Wafik, Sabri Fawaz, Youssef Omar, And directed by Mohamed Salama.

Kinda Alloush also recently screened her new movie “Exodus” at the Venice International Festival. The events of the movie “Exodus” take place in Syria during the conflicts of the past years, where a missile destroys the roof of the house of the 14-year-old girl Zina “Hala Zain”, following which she sleeps for the first time under the stars. And she establishes a friendship with Amer, the boy in the next house, and with the escalation of violence, her mother, Hala “Kinda Alloush”, insists on leaving and enters into a conflict with her husband, Moataz, “Samer Al-Masry”, who refuses to become a refugee and prevents his family from leaving the house.

The film was written and directed by Sudad Kaadan and filmed in Turkey. It is produced by Zajal Productions (Sudad Kaadan) and Berkeley Media Group (U-Vision), co-produced by X-Nilo (Mark Burdur), and starring Kinda Alloush, Samer Al-Masry.
