The uneventful 26-year-old was shot dead last week in a schoolyard in Montreal North.
Jayson Colin was known in his community for his involvement with young people. In particular, he wanted to launch a hockey league for underprivileged children.
His death sent shockwaves through the borough of Montreal North.
