From this Tuesday, October 22, the sports clubs of Montpellier are uniting for an unprecedented campaign in favor of the circular economy: “I give instead of throwing away”.

“I give instead of throwing away”: this is the letmotiv in place from this Tuesday in Montpellier. A campaign run by the start-up Indigo Réemploi, which aims to raise awareness and mobilize a wide audience for a more circular and responsible economy. “We want to offer each citizen a simple and concrete solution to reduce waste and support the circular economy”underlines Stéphane de Freitas, founder of Indigo Réemploi. “The commitment of Montpellier sports clubs to this campaign is a fantastic signal to encourage large-scale behavioral change. Together, we can make simple gestures, like donating, a real force for a more sustainable future. »

Indeed, during this campaign, Montpellier sport is on deck. Téji Savanier, captain of Montpellier Hérault and Nicolas Le Goff, captain of MHSC Volley and Olympic championare particularly mobilized. Montpellier sports teams invite residents to donate reusable objects via the Circular City platform.

MHSC Volley first to mobilize

The latter connects residents to local reuse structures, project partners, such as Emmaüs, Gammes, Envie or Donnons.org. It simplifies the act of donating by offering practical solutions such as home collection and direct contact with local associations.

Montpellier clubs will also organize collections of reusable objects during certain matches, encouraging supporters to donate rather than throw away. This October 22, during the match between MHSC Volley and Chaumont, a collection of reusable objects will mark the official launch of the campaign.
