In Minsk, Polish border guards were accused of shelling the checkpoint with metal balls

The Border Committee of Belarus accused the Polish security forces of hooliganism at the Peschatka checkpoint. The department published information regarding the incident in the official Telegram-channel.

The border guards noticed the actions of the Polish side on the night of April 10-11 – they tried to blind their Belarusian colleagues with strobe lights. A little later, the servicemen began to fire at the barriers dividing the countries with slingshots.

“Illegal actions of the neighboring side were recorded by CCTV cameras. During the inspection of the territory by the Belarusian border detachment, damage to the walls of the border modules, as well as metal balls, was found, ”the report notes that Warsaw was informed regarding the incident.
