The gas station near Marijampolė is the first step of Virši’s strategic expansion abroad, but the chain plans further development in Lithuania.
“Lithuania is an important market for development for two reasons. First, it has been characterized by stable economic growth over the past decade. Secondly, from a geographical point of view, Lithuania is the main transit route to other European countries for our private and business clients. Starting operations in a new country is always a difficult task, it is the result of persistent work of our professional team and partners,” says Janis Viba, Chairman of the Board of Virši.

According to J. Viba, the new gas station will complement the infrastructure of the region and contribute to the comfort of travelers: “This is one of the first gas stations on the way from Poland to Lithuania. Those traveling on the highway can visit it using a direct access, without prolonging their journey.”
The gas station pays great attention to the comfort of customers – they will be served 24 hours a day and will be able to choose from a wide range of drinks, snacks and car goods, and it will be possible to visit the cafe operating here.
