In less than 24 hours, oil prices hit a new record high for the first time in 7 years

Today, Wednesday, Al-Marsad newspaper – Agencies: Oil prices continue to rise, as the barrel of “Brent” rose above the level of $113 for the first time since July 2014.

By 11:05 Moscow time, US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 6.87% to $110.42 a barrel, while Brent crude futures rose 6.54% to $111.84 a barrel.

Prior to that, Brent contracts were traded above $113 a barrel for the first time since July 2014, according to TASS.
