On Wednesday July 13, 2022, in the Ped valley, in Lampaul-Guimiliau, the second evening of Les Tombées de la Nuit à l’Enclos will feature two groups, starting at 8:29 p.m., ending with the traditional fireworks display starting at 11 p.m.
Sailors from the End of the World
When they launched their ship in 2000, “ Sailors from the End of the World » were only regarding ten. For twenty years, some sailors have put their bags on the ground and new cabin boys and musicians have arrived; Captain René has taken over command and they scour the seaside festivals. Transmitting good humor is the raison d’être of this crew, which invites all those who want to get some fresh air from the open sea to come and join them.
Rock ‘n roll sea shanties
Born in 1986, “Les Naufragés” first sailed with three people. The texts have always had a primordial importance narrating the adventure, the love, the freedom. Over the years, the crew has been reinforced with new musicians and the group has scoured Brittany for concerts, while setting up a second complementary home port in Montpellier.
Endowed with rare human warmth, they seduce all kinds of public. In 2013, following a few storms, numerous concerts, and a second compilation retracing the history of the group, they made their comeback on stage and in the studio. In 2020, they recorded their new album “Rêve errance”. With thirteen tracks, each more dynamic than the next, they intoxicate their audience with rock, ska, punk, rock’ab and traditional music, mixed with poetry, festive energy and human warmth. To listen to and see on stage without any moderation!
