In “Koh-Lanta: le Totem Maudit”, Franck poisoned himself with a stinging root

KOH-LANTA – The adventure starts with a bang. The first episode of Koh-Lanta: the Cursed Totem was broadcast this Tuesday, February 22 on TF1. And the least we can say is that the twists and turns, but also the misadventures are already legion. And it is not Franck who will say the opposite.

The dean of this edition, recently installed on the camp with the green team, was indeed intoxicated with a stinging root, when he thought he was eating cassava found on the island. The paralyzed mouth, his condition worried his teammates, but more fear than harm, the medical team, available in case of emergency, did not have to intervene. The sequence has in any case marked some Internet users, as you can see below.

This tuber, whose resemblance to cassava is striking, is actually a wild taro, a toxic and non-edible plant, which must imperatively be “boiled for a long time” as specified Denis Brogniart during the episode.

The latter also had his share of surprises, because it was not one but two adventurers who were eliminated on Tuesday: Lili among the greens and Céline among the purples. The cursed totem, the evil twin of the immunity totem, is already wreaking havoc, and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.
