Sony formalized the list of games “offered” in January 2024, through its PlayStation Plus subscription offer. Among them, one of the best games of 2022… and it’s French.

Sony is taking advantage of the final days of 2023 to lift the veil on the triptych of games that it will offer free of charge in January 2024 to players subscribed to its PlayStation Plus program. As is often the case, we find a major title, accompanied by two smaller games.
From January 2 until February 5, players will be able to get their hands, at no extra cost, on one of the best AAA of 2022: A Plage Tale Requiem. Accessible only on PlayStation 5, the title from Asobo Studio from Bordeaux was the subject of five nominations (best game, best swimming, best music, best acting performance, and best action/adventure game) during the Games Awards 2022.
Three good games to discover from January 2
Direct continuation of A Plague Tale Innocence, the title once once more allows us to play Amicia, protective big sister of Hugo, a little boy overwhelmed by a mysterious curse. The game takes place in a Middle Ages ravaged by the Black Death, and takes us through sumptuous environments, inspired by Provence. Splendid on a graphic level, A Plage Tale Requiem remains today one of the most beautiful games available on next-gen consoles. Its polished narration is also one of its strong points, but be careful: its very rigid gameplay and relatively closed environments might, however, discourage some players.

And A Plage Tale Requiem don’t seduce you, maybeEvil West will have grace in your eyes. Accessible on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, the title allows you to face hordes of vampires to protect the American border in a fantastic universe. To kill these evil hordes, the player is given a whole arsenal (various firearms, lightning gauntlets and other gadgets). A good release that can also be played in co-op.
Last title expected in January on the PlayStation Plus subscription, also on PS5 and PS4, Nobody Saves the World comes from the same developers as Guacamelee. Atypical and a little crazy, the action-RPG from DrinkBox Studios can also be played alone or with a friend online.
