In high school, eco-delegates invested in the planet

An example for the young man elected eco-delegate by his comrades. His role ? Promote eco-gestures with the entire educational community and take action to reduce the ecological impact of its establishment. In partnership with the VeniVerdi association, it notably launched a greening project in the school. “Until now, the courtyard was very mineral, without green spaces, with the exception of a dozen or so trees,” he says. Hence the idea of ​​building culture containers to plant plants there, selected in the Capitular De Villis, a manuscript dated from the year 812. Charlemagne indicates there the way in which he wants to see the medicinal gardens managed.

Enrolled in Terminale at the Janson de Sailly school complex, also in Paris, Antoine Bryja, for his part, is working on the carbon footprint of his high school with around twenty young people: “We collect data from students and teachers to draw up a fairly precise inventory of our impact on the environment. This is what he explained to Patrick Cohen, the boss of Axa France, during their meeting. The opportunity at the same time to discuss the company’s progress in terms of ecology. “Entrepreneurs are also making commitments in favor of a more sustainable world, that gives us hope,” he underlines.
