27.2 million euros returned to state institutions, 144.56 million euros – for private individuals and legal entities, the Chamber of Bailiffs of Lithuania announced on Thursday.
Almost 14 thousand recovered all or at least part of the debt in January-June. creditors – regarding 260 budgetary institutions, regarding 4 thousand companies and regarding 9.5 thousand population, almost 34 thousand more. alimony was collected in favor of creditors.
According to the information system of bailiffs, the largest amount is 3.35 million. EUR – returned to one Estonian company. The debt was settled by selling the mortgaged real estate.
In half a year, creditors asked bailiffs to collect 418.1 million. EUR debts, 128.6 thousand were submitted for this purpose. new requirements – 30 percent. more than last year in July-December.
“The growing amounts of monetary claims confirm that the bailiffs are approached less and less for relatively small debts, which individuals are more likely to manage to repay on their own,” the report states.

Out of a total of 73.3 thousand 0.6 percent of executed collection cases. In some cases, the debts were covered by the sale of the debtors’ assets from auctions, and most of the debts were recovered from the debtors’ income and other funds. In January-June, 445 competitions announced by bailiffs took place.
