In Geneva, the police raid the world of child pornography

The Geneva police had announced it during their last press conference. Cybercrime has become one of the priorities of its action. An operation aimed at combating child pornography, communicated today by the Public Ministry, illustrates this mobilization. Ten people, all living in the canton, were arrested for downloading images or films of a sexual nature involving children. Three defendants were made available to the Public Prosecutor’s Office and one of them, suspected of even more serious offences, was sent to Champ-Dollon by the Compulsory Measures Court.
