A young mother has died following a shooting in a South Carolina grocery store parking lot last Tuesday.
According to her husband, Tyler Borys, 26-year-old Alexandria Cress Borys was putting the grocery bags in her car when an argument broke out with a woman she did not know.
After the argument concluded, the stranger allegedly pretended to return to her car, only to suddenly pull out a gun and shoot Mme Boris.
The whole thing took place while the Borys’ child, a 2-year-old infant, was waiting for his mother in the car.
According to local media reports, officers from the Irmo Police Department pronounced the woman dead when they arrived around 4 p.m. They identified Christina Harrison, 23, as the woman who shot Alexandria Cress Borys.
Mme Harrison faces charges of murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The police have opened an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to this event.
