In France, the number of emergency visits linked to cocaine consumption has tripled in ten years

According to Santé Publique France, visits to the emergency room linked to the use of cocaine have tripled in ten years. Regions of France such as Guyana, Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur or Occitanie have slightly higher consumption levels than other regions. These visits to the emergency room most often concern young men, aged between 25 and 39 years old.
