In Finland, created a 4000-horsepower engine for the Nissan GT-R

The Nissan VR38DETT engine has a displacement of 3.8 liters as standard: a cylinder diameter of 95.5 millimeters, a piston stroke of 88.4 millimeters. Tuning companies HKS, Manley or AMS Performance offer to increase the volume to 4.1-4.6 liters. To do this, they put a crankshaft with an increased crank radius, or, in addition, they also bore the cylinders.

Judging by their experience, the limit values for a Nissan engine are as follows: cylinder diameter 100 millimeters, piston stroke 99 millimeters. Theoretically, this means that the regular unit allows you to bring the volume up to 4665 cubic centimeters.
