Ukraine’s future in NATO is written. At least to hear the opinion of Secretary General Mark Rutte on a visit to Odessa and Kharkiv.
«This is my fifth time in Ukraine» since the beginning of the Russian invasion. «We visited Odessa together, Kharkiv and, of course, we had numerous meetings here in Kyiv, but this is my first time here as Secretary General of NATO. It was important for me to come to Ukraine at the beginning of my mandate, to make it clear to the Ukrainian people and all those who observe that NATO stands by Ukraine.” NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said this at a press conference in Kiev alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (the video of the conference was released by the Atlantic Alliance). “As the new NATO secretary general it is my priority and my privilege to continue this support,” concluded the former Dutch prime minister.
