Mr. Georgiadis went to the hospital to attend the swearing in of 35 new nurses who are starting their careers from “Evangelism”. Afterwards, the Minister of Health visited all the Emergency Departments, where he spoke with workers and patients.
With his post on Facebook, accompanied by photos, Mr. Georgiadis informed about his visit to “Evangelismos”, emphasizing at the same time that “the goal in the coming months is to have a new and better SSY at all levels. And we will succeed.”

This morning I went to “Evangelismo” to attend the swearing in of 35 new nurses, who are starting their careers in this great hospital.
Ten days ago another 73 were sworn in and by the end of the month a total of 165 nurses will be sworn in. Thus, the potential of the Hospital is strengthened in practice, so that we can operate more operating theaters and better serve our patients in all departments and in the wards. While others only find problems, we will provide solutions.
Then and by chance, we visited all the Emergency Departments with the Hospital Administration. We talked with the workers, but also with patients, about the problems they face.
I set as a major goal of my term the reduction of the waiting time in the emergency room as much as possible, the better and faster care of the Patients and the strengthening of the infrastructures. The Renovation and Evangelism TEP projects also begin immediately.
The goal in the coming months is to have a new better SSY at all levels. And we will succeed!
