In Egypt, Israelis and Palestinians Renew Pledge to End Violence

Following a meeting between the Israeli and Palestinian delegations in the Egyptian resort of Sharm El-Sheikh, the parties agreed to work towards de-escalation and “prevention of further violence”. The two sides also agreed to “put in place a mechanism to curb and counter violence, incitement and inflammatory statements” and to hold a new meeting in April, following the two meetings held so far.
