This Monday the federal deputy of Durango for the Labor Party, Celeste Sánchez Romero, 32, was found dead in her home.
After a call to the emergency number, lifeguards went to the home, located in Gabino Barreda street between Guadalupe and Zaragoza in the historic center of Durango, where she was found dead.
The causes of death are still unknown and, hso far, the Attorney General of the State of Durango has not commented on the case.
Just this Friday, Celeste Sánchez would have participated in a forum on the electrical reform in the country.
Shortly following the news was announced, Otniel García Navarro, leader of the National Regeneration Movement, sent a message confirming the news and regretting the fact. The federal legislator, Carlos Maturino, did the same.

Who is Celeste Sanchez?
The federal deputy for the labor party born in Durango. His The focus was to support and promote initiatives that benefit the Mexican people in terms of their economy, health and well-being, especially the most vulnerable.

She was secretary of the Science, Technology and Innovation Commission; she and a member of the Health and Youth commissions.

The various parliamentary groups in the San Lázaro Palace lamented the death of the legislator and expressed condolences to her family.

The coordinator of the parliamentary majority of Morena, Ignacio Mier, joined the sorrow for the death of the deputy:

The PRI caucus also expressed its condolences to family and friends of the legislator.
