Tesla continued hiring in 2023
The Tesla electric car company continued to hire more employees this year, despite layoffs earlier, while founder Elon Musk is keen to make a change in the crew selection process.
According to the “The Street” website, the number of Tesla employees in late 2022 reached regarding 130,000, which means that it hired 30,000 last year.
There is no data available at the present time regarding the number of people who have been employed in the current world, but what is known is that “Tesla” continues to be employed.
Data from the US Department of Labor reveals details of the wages earned by employees of the leading electric car maker.
The information was drawn from 184 employment records that Tesla filed with the Department of Labor in the first quarter of this year, regarding those who were employed outside the United States.
Creating high-capacity batteries for electric cars
The 184 foreign employees obtained an American H1B visa, which is granted to non-American employees, in addition to the “E3” visa granted to Australian workers.
The figures showed that the salary of the employee coming from abroad to Tesla was not less than $80,000 per year, while the maximum amount reached $235,000 annually.
The median salary at Tesla for new employees is approximately $145,000 per year, while the median average for all wages is $149,000 per year.
In only 5 cases, among the 184 new employment records, the annual salary was less than 6 figures, i.e. less than $100,000, and this segment constituted only 2.7 percent.
