The Prosecutor’s Office initiated the pertinent investigations to try to establish clearly what happened to the director of legal Medicine of North of Santander, Emel Palacio Montagutwho died in a motel room in the neighborhood La Parada, from Villa del Rosario, according to the newspaper La Opinion, from Cúcuta.
The place where the events occurred was cordoned off by the authorities, who are now carrying out the investigations of the case, to find the details that lead to the reasons for the events.
The name of the place where the director of Legal Medicine was found has not yet been revealed, but it is known that he was in the place, in the company of a woman.
The first theories indicate that the director of legal medicine would have died of a heart attack, which can be confirmed following the forensic evaluations.

The forensic search begins by investigating the time that Palacio entered the place and under what conditions, in addition to the one already known, which is that of the company of a woman. Similarly, forensic experts will look for details in the autopsy, so that doubts regarding the cause of death can be cleared up.
