In Caudan, the Friends of the Nelhouët Chapel will celebrate their jubilee on August 20 and 21 – Caudan

On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 August, the association of Friends of Nelhouët will celebrate its 50th anniversary and celebrate the chapel’s pardon following a two-year hiatus.

Since the beginning of August, some of the members of the association have been busy preparing for the festivities and remotivating the volunteers. “The objective is to reconnect with forgiveness and the country party in a lighter format”, specifies Robert Le Padellec, president of the association.

In the program

On Saturday evening August 20, a concert in the chapel will be given by harpist Tristan Le Govic and double bassist Tanguy Le Hénanff.

The next day, the pardon will take place with the mass and then the procession to the fountain. At the end, the glass of friendship will be offered by the association. For the country party, a meal will be offered in self-service, at noon. On the menu: starter, roast pork, cheese, apple pie and coffee for €13. The fest-deiz will be animated by the groups An Di Douenn and Ar Vrdren, as well as by Breton games.

“Fifty years counts in the life of an association! We want to find our audience and celebrate this milestone with dignity, ”concludes the president.
