In Budapest for the informal council of EU transport ministers. 2024-09-21 09:15:18

On the council’s agenda will be the promotion of transport competitiveness, enabling an extensive political dialogue around the issues of developing connections, greening, digitalisation and financing networks. The discussion will further specialize in rail transport and cross-border connectivity, as reducing the sector’s carbon footprint and expanding to neighboring countries are, through time and at the same time, topical elements of transport policy.

On the sidelines of the work, the minister will hold meetings with counterparts from member states of the European Union, as well as European officials to promote Greek positions and the country’s investment program.
