London: The police confirmed that the incident in which a Malayali nurse and two children died in Britain was a murder. Anju, who was a nurse at a general hospital in Kettering, Britain, and her children Jhanvi and Jeeva were killed. The police have informed Anju’s family that they will charge murder charges once morest her husband Saju, a native of Patiyur, Srikandapuram, Kannur.

Postmortem of the bodies of the children will also be conducted today. The police informed that Anju was killed by suffocation. Saju will be kept in police custody for another 72 hours for further questioning.

Anju (40), her children Jiva (6) and Jhanvi (4) were found seriously injured on Thursday. Anju died before reaching the hospital. The children died at the hospital.

Anju met Saju in Bangalore and got married in 2012. After marriage, both of them were in Saudi Arabia. Saju was a driver there.
