In Brest, vaccination in pharmacies begins this Tuesday

A new vaccination site once morest monkey pox will open at Brest (Finistère) this Tuesday. After the CHRU centre, which opened this summer, it will now be possible to go to the Universities pharmacy, rue du Docteur Langevin; reports The Telegram.

The campaign of vaccination prevention once morest the virus was launched at the beginning of July at the national level with the “most exposed groups”. Nine sites have opened in Brittany, including that of the hospital in Brest.

Three designated pharmacies in Brittany

To further accelerate the campaign, the government has decided to mobilize pharmacists. After an experimental phase concerning only 5 pharmacies in France, the system will therefore be extended. The Brittany Regional Health Agency has thus designated three pharmacies: that of Brest therefore, but also one in Redon (Ille-et-Vilaine) and one in Lannion (Côtes-d’Armor).

The University Pharmacy will offer vaccination slots on Tuesdays to be booked on Doctolib. This measure comes as the epidemic is slowing down markedly in France since a few weeks.
