In Blois, the police force seized after the violent assault of a woman by her former companion

The General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN) was seized, Friday, December 16, by the prefecture of Loir-et-Cher following the violent aggression of a young woman by her former companion. Aged 24, she was placed in a coma at the hospital in Tours.

While she had presented herself earlier in the followingnoon at the police station in Blois, she had been asked to return on Saturday, announced the prefecture of Loir-et-Cher on Friday evening. In a press release, the prefect of Loir-et-Cher, François Pesneau, indicated that he had requested referral to the IGPN “in order to know precisely the conditions in which the victim had been, shortly before the events, received at the Blois police station and invited to present himself the next day”.

According to a forensic examination carried out on Wednesday, the victim suffered from “Major hemorrhagic brain injury” and his vital prognosis was engaged, said the prosecutor of the Republic of Blois, Charlotte Beluet. His neurological prognosis was described as « sombre » in a statement from the prosecution.

The victim had prepared a file to file a complaint

The young woman had been found unconscious in the lobby of a building by the police, warned by witnesses, Tuesday around 7 p.m. “On the day of the events, around 5 p.m., she went to the reception of the Blois police station and (…) had been invited to come back the next day”confirmed Mr.me Amount.

According to the hearings of the entourage, the relationship between the victim and her former companion had started in August, before the young woman decided to end it in early December, “having shared (…) of violence, threat and harassment, facts for which she had prepared a file in order to file a complaint “. “She had notably changed her phone (…) to put an end to the actions of her former companion and she had recently had an abortion”said the magistrate.

His former companion, aged 27 and “known to justice (…) for acts of violence”, was arrested Thursday in Plaisir (Yvelines). During his auditions, he indicated that he wanted “to have explanations”, especially on rupture. He admitted to having kicked several times “crushing” in the mind of the victim. He has however “disputed having intended to kill his former partner”. The young man was placed in pre-trial detention as part of an open judicial investigation for attempted murder.
