The Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining named following M.R. Rakhimova of Ishenaly Arabayev KSU today, March 3, 2023, on the basis of the scientific library, held a round table on the topic: “Society and inclusive education: practice and strategies”
The goal was to discuss the main strategies for the development of an inclusive process and successful practices of inclusion in education; in combining the efforts of science, practice and the public in the development of an inclusive process; as well as there was an exchange of experience on improving the system of inclusive education, the search for joint research in this direction and the strengthening of cooperation between educational and scientific organizations; establishing new contacts and attracting young people to scientific research.
The participants of the round table were leading experts, scientists, researchers, heads of educational organizations and teachers implementing inclusive education; representatives of public organizations that solve the problems of social and educational inclusion, representatives of parental communities.
The reports were presented by scientists, teachers of universities: KSU named following. I. Arabaeva, KNU im. Zh. Balasagyn, Osh State University, directors of the secondary school in Bishkek, parents and representatives of public organizations working with children with disabilities.
The round table was held online and offline.
The participants of the round table noted:
– a trend towards the development of an inclusive environment in higher education and the development of unique mechanisms for inclusive higher education;
– positive development trends and the emergence of new relevant inclusive practices of socio-psychological support;
– the importance of socio-psychological support in the process of forming a professionally oriented personality;
– disinterest of the state. bodies in cooperation with each other on issues of inclusion;
During the discussion, the following proposals were formulated:
1) identify, develop and replicate the most interesting and successful inclusive practices through competitions, seminars, open events, etc.;
2) use the information technology resources of the IPK and PC, departments specializing in inclusive education for broadcasting experience;
3) recommend universities to develop programs for children with disabilities from grades 5-9 for learning and adaptation in life;
4) continue the practice of cooperation with partner employers in the development of effective mechanisms for retaining young professionals with disabilities (from among university graduates) in the workplace;
5) sign memorandums with the leaders of the secondary school, physical education, contracts with the leading departments of the KNU. Zh. Balasagyn, Osh State University, KKU them.
