The blade of the prosecution, which is aimed at the Democratic Party’s leader Lee Jae-myung, is narrowing the distance in several directions.
An additional search and seizure was carried out to confirm the overall North Korean project that CEO Lee carried out while he was governor of Gyeonggi Province.
He is nailing Lee as an accomplice, putting others to trial for ‘Seongnam FC donations’ or ‘wirye new town corruption’.
Representative Lee’s side is arguing that the ‘fragmentation coercion investigation’ is an ‘obvious political oppression’.
Reporter Shin Jae-woong will tell you.

The foundation was established by Lee Hwa-young, former Deputy Governor of Peace in Gyeonggi-do, who was arrested on charges of receiving money from Ssangbang.

Prosecutors appear to be looking at provincial North Korea projects during the days of Gyeonggi-do governor Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party.
At the time of 2019, Nanos, a subsidiary of Ssangbangbul, which participated in the North Korean project in Gyeonggi-do, was designated as a North Korean theme stock, and the stock price soared.
Previously, ‘Nanos’ had issued convertible bonds worth KRW 30 billion that might be converted into stocks, and holders of convertible bonds also benefited greatly.
Prosecutors suspect that Lee Jae-myung’s lawyers received convertible bonds under borrowed names.
The prosecution also investigated the allegations of President Lee during his time as mayor of Seongnam, and handed others to trial, nailing President Lee as an accomplice.
First, Doosan E&C submitted the name of ‘Lee Jae-myung’ 35 times in the indictment, handed over Doosan executives and Seongnam city officials to trial over suspicion of Doosan E&C’s financial support for Seongnam FC.
In particular, in 2014, when CEO Lee received a “report that it is illegal to receive Seongnam FC’s operating funds in cash” in exchange for changing the use of the Doosan E&C site, the prosecution directly instructed, “I would like to report on a plan to review some of the profits from the change in use.” indicated that it did.
The Daejang-dong gang was also put on trial for corruption in the Wirye new town development project, and this time, Lee Jae-myung’s name was mentioned 18 times.
An official from the prosecution said, “The interests of CEO Lee, who was the mayor of Seongnam, and the private business owners coincided,” and “we are investigating whether CEO Lee was involved.”
