In a test conducted among MPs in the UK, only 44% passed the standard

LONDON: The results of an exam conducted among members of Parliament in the UK were worse than that of a 10- or 11-year-old child, reports have emerged. The exam was held in London in the first week of December. The test was supervised by 11-year-old children. MPs including the chairman of the Commons Education Select Committee, Robin Walker, took part in the examination.

The event was organized by ‘More Than A Score’, which advocates the elimination of unnecessary exams. But only 44% of MPs achieved the expected standard in Maths and English. The number of MPs is even lower when 59% of ten to eleven year olds across the UK said they met the expected standards this year. With this, it has been proven that most of the MPs are below ten and eleven year old children in mathematics and English.

In any case, with exams, MPs have started to think seriously about the pressure on children of this age. It is reported that Walker has also learned about the total revision of their exams. Walker admitted it was a tough test. And Walker said that children should not only be taught to pass exams but instead should develop a love of learning in them.
