Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Juventus striker Arkadiusz Milik suffered misfortune during his team’s match with Salernitana, in the sixth round of the Italian League, after he was sent off after celebrating a goal that was later canceled.
The result of the match was a positive tie with two goals, then Arkadiusz Milik scored a goal in stoppage time, specifically in the 94th minute, to celebrate his scoring by removing the shirt, prompting referee Matteo Marcenaro to warn the player with the second yellow card, to be sent off.
The “VAR” technology intervened to decide to cancel the scorer, due to offside, so that Arkadiusz Milik had received a “free” red card, in addition to the “Old Lady” team that could not snatch a fatal victory, as the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
The match witnessed 3 other expulsions during the last minutes, as the red card was shown to: Juventus player Juan Cuadrado and coach Massimiliano Allegri, and Salernitana player Federico Fazio, following a burning atmosphere after the goal was canceled.
