Notably, Phuc Hoa is the only locality supported to build an e-commerce platform to promote and introduce key products and local characteristics. On this trading floor, production, business households and people can promote, introduce products, exchange, buy and sell, and expand goods consumption channels.

Mr. Ngo Van Tiep, Chairman of Phuc Hoa Commune People’s Committee said: “Although the number of goods sold through the e-commerce platform is not much, this is really an important milestone in the application of digital technology to raise the level of local agricultural products. . We expect that this year’s lychee crop will expand the consumption market and increase the value thanks to the e-commerce platform.”

In Hong Giang commune, up to now, 100% of villages have 4G wave, an increase of 10% compared to before digital transformation; the percentage of households accessing and using internet services accounts for more than 85%. Regarding the deployment of applications to serve the construction of digital government, up to now 80% of administrative procedures at commune level are resolved on the electronic one-stop system; the rate of dossiers being handled correctly and before the deadline reached 100%.

Companion for successful digital transformation

The digital transformation model in Phuc Hoa and Hong Giang communes has achieved initial results. However, due to the lack of awareness regarding digital transformation of a part of people and business households in the area, the importance of digital transformation has not yet been seen, so the effectiveness has not been as expected; The support for the construction and upgrading of information technology infrastructure is still limited and inconsistent.

In Phuc Hoa commune, although it has just been invested in 9 smart speaker clusters, due to limited exploitation, the efficiency is not high, the sound quality is not good; the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology application in radio program production, text-to-speech conversion has not been fully exploited.

Or as in Hong Giang commune, although 100% of business households in the commune apply non-cash payment methods, the percentage of customers doing so is still low.

Ms. Pham Thu Trang, owner of Milk World, Kep 1 village, Hong Giang commune, said: “On average, the store sells more than 200 million VND of goods each month, and some days it sells more than 10 million VND. Although we really want customers to pay by account so that at the end of the day we close the book and transfer money to the company, the payment rate in this form is very low (accounting for regarding 10%).

In order to promote digital transformation at the commune level, in 2023, the Bac Giang Department of Science and Technology determined to focus on guiding and supporting the two communes of Phuc Hoa and Hong Giang to complete equipment, internet network infrastructure as well as equipment systems. equipment at the one-stop department to strive for 100% of administrative procedures to digitize records and settlement results.

Along with that, continue to propagate and guide people and business households to install non-cash payment applications, electronic health books, and create public service accounts.
