The municipality of Trelew prohibited the sale of cooked choripanes in the traditional chulengos. According to what was announced from the Inspections area of ​​the city of Chubut, the decision was made for safety and hygiene reasons.

This determination affects the stalls of the Nomad Entrepreneurs Fairwhich works on the Laguna Cacique Chiquichano Natural Reserve. According to what was reported by the authorities, seeks to mitigate the amount of waste generated with this form of production, eliminate the use of fire with wood or coal for cooking and thus avoid accidents.

From the municipal area They ensured that the use of coal or firewood leaves a lot of waste thrown away and then the pleasures have to do a task that does not correspondsince the fairgrounds themselves should take care of their waste.

The truth is that there are even stallholders who agree with the measure. The person in charge of the fair, Estefany Palma, told local media that there have already been several accidents with the chulengos that almost end up setting the place on fire, and this put everyone on alert.
