Associations Vietnam Bond Market (VBMA) said that in 2022, there will be 420 individual corporate bond issuances, worth approximately VND 244,565 billion, accounting for 96% of the total issuance value, down 66% over the same period last year.
The leading banking group in 2022 in terms of release value with a total value of 136,772 billion dong, accounting for 53.6% of the total issued value. The average maturity of this group is 5.47 years, Issuing interest rate average is 5.48%/year.
Next, real estate group with 51,979 billion dong, accounting for 20.4%. Compared to 2021 (more than 214,000 billion dong), the amount of bonds issued by real estate businesses decreased by nearly 76%.
In 2022, businesses bought back VND 210,830 billion, up 46% compared to 2021.

In 2023, there will be regarding VND 289,819 billion of bonds maturing. Particularly in the first month of the year, there were regarding VND 17,500 billion of bonds maturing; in which, 10,500 billion dong of real estate bonds, accounting for 60% of the value of corporate bonds and 5,900 billion dong of construction bonds, accounting for 34%.
According to VBMA, the first week of 2023, there is no release corporate bonds which is recorded. The total value of bonds bought back by businesses before maturity was 310 billion VND, down 17% compared to the same period last year.
