In 2021, 1.7 million people submitted at least one request to their departmental center for disabled people (MDPH). This is a year of “return to normal”, according to the latest statistics published by the National Solidarity Fund for Autonomy (CNSA). Communicated.
In 2021, users filed an average of 2.6 requests, i.e. nearly 4.4 million in total. The Commissions for the Rights and Autonomy of Persons with Disabilities (CDAPH) issued 4.77 million decisions or opinions, an increase of 0.7% compared to 2020. On average, 8 decisions on 10 give rise to an agreement. However, this proportion differs according to the benefits.
For children, the allocations resulting from a request for schooling will increase sharply in 2021, in particular:
– for human help with schooling (+15.7%);
– for adapted teaching materials (+25.3%).
Among adults, there is also a significant increase in agreements, mainly linked to the strong dynamic:
– vocational guidance or training (+5.2%);
– recognition of the status of disabled worker – RQTH (+6.2%).
The average processing time for requests over the year was 4.1 months for children (compared to 4.2 in 2020) and 4.6 months for adults (similar to 2020).
