Imwind finances solar expansion with direct electricity sales to industrial companies

The turbulence on the electricity markets and a slimmed-down subsidy regime are paving the way for alternative forms of marketing for renewable energies. One of them, which the wind power and solar pioneer Imwind Erneuerbare Energie GmbH is now making use of, is called the Purchasing Power Agreement (PPA). The green power producer has now fixed one with Resonac Graphite Austria. According to their own statements, it is even the largest PPA in Austria to date.
