Clashes broke out outside Nawaz Sharif’s Avenfield flat in London between Imran Khan’s PTI and Sharif’s PML – supporters.
During the protest, PTI activists holding Pakistani flags chanted slogans once morest the expulsion of Imran Khan. Meanwhile, PML-N supporters also arrived at the Avenfield flat to show solidarity with party chief Nawaz Sharif, ARY News reported.
Police arrived at the Avenfield apartment to control the clash between the two. The confrontation between the two groups is intense on social media. Leaders and rank and file of both the parties are accusing each other.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday praised the no-confidence motion once morest Imran Khan. He also asked the members of the National Assembly to celebrate April 10, 2022, as an important day in the history of the country.
He likened Benazir Bhutto’s exile on April 10, 1986, to Lahore for the fight once morest former Pakistani President Mohammed Zia-ul-Haq.
“We welcome you to ancient Pakistan on April 10, 2022,” Bilawal told the Pakistan National Assembly. Pakistani youth should never give up their dreams, nothing is impossible. Democracy is the best revenge – he added.
