Imran Khan’s charm in the world of cricket is still riding on the players, former cricketers have expressed their wishes

Former all-rounders Azhar Mehmood and Abdul Razzaq expressed their desire to form a dream pair with Imran Khan.

Former all-rounder Azhar Mehmood, who scored 900 runs and 39 wickets in 21 Test matches for Pakistan, has expressed his desire to form his dream pair with Imran Khan, one of the great players of the past.

Azhar Mehmood, who scored an unbeaten century against South Africa in the first innings of his Test debut in 1997 and an unbeaten half-century in the second innings, won the player of the match award, batting alongside Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah among the contemporary cricketers. Azhar Mehmood, while choosing a dream pair among the current cricketers, said that he wants to bowl with the young left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi. He said that Shaheen Shah Afridi is a very talented cricketer and he knows him very well.

Azhar Mohammad said that he would like to form his dream batting pair with Babar Azam, the top batsman in the ICCT Twenty20 Cricket Rankings. The former cricketer said that the national T20 cricket team captain’s timing while batting is fantastic and as a former bowling coach, he has watched most of his innings sitting in the dressing room.

All-rounder Abdul Razzaq, who saved Pakistan from certain defeat by standing at the crease for 346 minutes against India in Mohali Test 2005, has expressed his desire to bowl along with Imran Khan. All-rounder Abdul Razzaq, who scored 1946 runs and 100 wickets in 46 Test matches, has expressed his desire to include former captain Javed Miandad in his dream pair for batting in the field.

Former cricketer Abdul Razzaq thanked the Pakistan Cricket Board and said that PCB’s way of paying tribute to its former players through this digital campaign is commendable. Abdul Razzaq said he wanted him to bowl from one end of the ground and Imran Khan from the other end. He said that he used to dream of batting with Javed Miandad. Abdul Razzaq said that these two great cricketers of the past were legends of Pakistan with whom it would be an honor to pair up with them.

Through this activity, PCB has given fans an opportunity to pair up their favorite batsmen and bowlers who have represented Pakistan in different eras. Here, before the selection of the all-rounder, the campaign consisting of pairs of spinners, fast bowlers, openers and middle-order batsmen has been well received.

Meanwhile, the duo of Saeed Anwar and Aamir Sohail, the great cricketers of the 1990s, was the most popular in the openers campaign. Saeed Anwar and Majid Khan were ranked as the second most popular couple in this campaign.
