Imran Khan reaches Islamabad High Court in sedition case – Pakistan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has reached the Islamabad High Court seeking bail in the sedition case.

Imran Khan left his residence Zaman Park in Lahore at 7:40 am today in the form of a convoy to appear in the Islamabad High Court.

On this occasion, a large number of workers were present with the convoy while Zabarniazi, Musrat Jamshed Cheema and other senior PTI leaders were also present with the convoy.

Imran Khan has reached the Islamabad High Court to appear in the case of inciting rebellion once morest institutions in the context of allegations once morest military officials.

On reaching the Islamabad High Court, Imran Khan’s car was stopped from entering the court premises.

Request for permission for Imran Khan’s vehicle to enter the court premises

On behalf of PTI, an application was filed for the permission of Imran Khan’s vehicle to enter the court premises.

Imran Khan’s lawyers submitted an application to the registrar of the Islamabad High Court in which it was said that Imran Khan is a former prime minister, there are threats to his life, his vehicle should be allowed to enter the court premises.

On the other hand, strict security arrangements have been made in the Islamabad High Court and all the shops around the court are completely closed.

The external force of the police is stationed around the Islamabad High Court, an armored police vehicle has also been delivered outside the court.

Before the arrival of Imran Khan, the courtroom was vacated and the courtroom was cleared by the bomb disposal squad.

Security monitoring of the High Court is also being done through drone cameras.

Objection raised on Imran Khan’s bail application

Later, the Registrar’s Office of Islamabad High Court objected to Imran Khan’s bail application.

The Registrar’s Office objected that how can direct high court file bail instead of trial court? Imran Khan did not even get his biometrics done.

Yesterday, Imran Khan wrote in one of his tweets that this FIR shows that we are really under the law of the jungle.

Imran Khan had said in his tweet that “this powerful section of the country, which considers itself above the law, has established a case of treason once morest Pakistan once morest me for insulting ‘Dirty Harry’ and ‘insulting a psychopath’.”

On the appearance of Imran Khan, the traffic plan of Islamabad Police continues

Spokesman Islamabad said that FIRs are registered according to the law, which are decided by the courts, everyone is equal in the eyes of the law and no one has any discriminatory status.

The Islamabad Capital Police says that Imran Khan and his associates are expected to respect the law while appearing in courts.
