Islamabad: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has openly admitted that he failed to keep his election promise to create a new Pakistan. Initially, he thought that revolutionary measures might bring regarding rapid change in the country. But Imran Khan said he was convinced the current system in the country was not adequate.
He asked whether the Pakistani ministers were working to make the country more sustainable by increasing exports, improving the living conditions of the people and alleviating poverty. He pointed out that the main problem was the huge gap between national interest and the functioning of the state.
Imran Khan openly acknowledged that he had failed to deliver on his election promise at a ceremony to present letters of commendation to ten top ministers. Meanwhile, Fazlur Rehman, head of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), has said he will bring a no-confidence motion in parliament once morest the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government led by Imran Khan.
