2023-09-27 19:19:39

The Health Affairs Department in the Tabuk region received a series of complaints related to the provision of health services in the emergency department and the treatment of patients, including poor hygiene in the place, and failure to change bandages on a regular basis, which caused some patients to suffer complications from their medical condition by not providing the necessary service quickly.

In addition, the complainants pointed to a lack of cleanliness of the bathrooms in the rooms and the emergency department, while requests to provide basic supplies to patients were ignored. They also mentioned the lack of a comfortable space for patients to wait in the radiology department, which makes them wait in the corridors.

One of the patients expressed her dissatisfaction with a doctor who used a mobile phone during the delivery process. Complaints were also recorded regarding the delay in providing service in the emergency department and ill-treatment of patients, in addition to an assault on a child at the hands of a security employee, while some noted that patients did not adhere to the specified appointments, which caused them to overcrowd.

Some complaints dealt with a shortage in the provision of beds in emergency cases, and the complainants demanded that these complaints be dealt with seriously and that the necessary measures be taken to improve the quality of health services, to provide better and more worthy health care for patients.
