The national private steel industry, PT Gunung Raja Paksi Tbk (GRP) completed efforts to cast and repair Jalan Perjuangan, in Sukadanau Village, Bekasi, West Java. The road repair project was carried out through collaboration between GRP and PT Nusantara Baja Profil and PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk, so it was successfully completed faster than the estimated time.

According to the President Director of GRP, Fedaus, these improvements are part of ongoing efforts to support and advance local development through social responsibility programs. “This is a form of our concern for the community around the factory,” said Fedaus to the media Friday (04/04).

In this project, in total GRP carried out casting and repairs for roads with an area of more than 400 square meters.

Fedaus added that the repairs and recasting were aimed at overcoming safety problems caused by previously damaged road conditions. “Because damaged roads not only slow down economic activity but also increase the risk of accidents for road users,” said Fedaus.

Fedaus said the project was a continuation of GRP’s commitment to improving infrastructure quality and accessibility for communities in the company’s operational areas.

“We at GRP realize the importance of Jalan Perjuangan, Sukadanau, which is passed by many vehicles every day. Seeing the previous condition which was damaged and had a high risk of causing an accident, we felt the need to act. “This initiative reflects our commitment to improving the safety and comfort of road users, while improving the quality of life of the community,” explained Fedaus.

Through these improvements, added Fedaus, GRP hopes to continue to make a meaningful contribution to sustainable development and community welfare in West Cikarang and its surroundings. “GRP remains committed to developing infrastructure that is not only of high quality but also safe for all users,” concluded Fedaus.

The Head of Sukadanau Village, Imam Mahdi, responded positively to GRP’s road repair efforts. Imam said that these improvements might provide benefits to road users and the people living nearby. “The public really appreciates the road improvements carried out by GRP.
