The new space was renamed the “Bachelor Milton Frank” X-ray Room, in tribute to the health worker who died during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Important works were carried out at the site to improve the current hospital sector, the working conditions of the staff and the service provided to the community.
The work, which allowed the spaces to be adjusted to existing regulations for the use of specialized equipment, consisted of the expansion and renovation of the sector with replacement of openings, placement of a new door with insulation of lead sheets, better access for stretchers, installation of new lighting, placement and execution of plaster ceiling and granite floor, among others.
In addition, rails for the lightning equipment were placed in the sector, and the corresponding shielding was made, with a division wall, insulated window and door.
In the Middle Valley, 16 beds, 14 dining tables, 7 light tables, a cardio defibrillator and a wheelchair were delivered, in addition to medications with a total investment of almost 30 million pesos.
