Asuncion, IP Agency.- Through an agreement between the Ministry of Public Works and Communications and the Government of the department of Ñeembucú, work continues on the restoration of local roads in the area, benefiting more than 10,000 residents of four localities.
Through District No. 12, profiling, patching and platform lifting work was carried out in the section that connects Yaguarón, Tacuara’i, Punta Diamante and Piretu Cué, in the district of Tacuaras, which is home to nearly 4,000 people.
Likewise, patching work was carried out on the local roads of Desmochados and profiling was carried out on the route that connects Villalbín and Desmochados, improving the connection of approximately 4,000 more inhabitants of both districts.
On the other hand, in collaboration with the Municipality of Mayor Martínez, on Friday, August 9, potholes were filled in the local roads of the town, which has 4,000 inhabitants, as well as profiling in the section that connects Cruce Manantial with Villalbín.
Dirt roads play a crucial role in the life of these rural communities, as they are the main access route to essential services such as education, health and commerce.
With these actions, the MOPC reaffirms its commitment to the maintenance and improvement of road infrastructure, ensuring better traffic conditions and strengthening connectivity in the most remote areas of Ñeembucú, the MOPC reported.
